1. Label each plastic bags.
   
   Label each bag with the name of the person who is being tested (ie. Father - John, Mother - Sally, etc.)
2. Pull 4 hairs from the body.
   
   You can use tweezers, or your fingers, grasping as close to the skin as possible, so the hair does not break, but is pulled out, taking the hair follicle (root) with it. It is the follicle with contains the skin cells and DNA which we require to complete the test.
   
   If you cannot see a visible hair root, or think the hairs may have broken, it is best to pull out a few more.
3. Drop the hairs in the bag.
   
   Avoid touching the hair root.
4. Mail the bags to DNA SOLUTIONS for testing.
   
   Don't forget to include the sample information form and payment.
